Long Description It all started when documentarian Dr. Shawne Duperon was personally touched by a compelling story of forgiveness. She simply wanted to share a deeply moving experience of a man forgiving another man, after killing his family. This six-time EMMY® winner told the story through a five-minute video, a movie trailer for a documentary designed to explore the concept of forgiveness. It went viral. (www.ProjectForgive.com) The video has been seen by tens of thousands across the globe, has garnered world-wide media coverage, and attracted an explosion on social media. It also attracted the attention of Archbishop Desmond Tutu and country icon Naomi Judd, both of whom now officially endorse Project: Forgive. The making of this compelling documentary spurred the creation of the Project: Forgive Foundation, an international charity and educational partner. Our mission as a non-religious, non-partisan organization is to expand leadership skills for high school students and business leaders. We believe fostering leadership skills such as collaboration, diversity and forgiveness in the workplace, will significantly enhance global problem solving.
